Makora is a middle sized glass works producing decorative glass, besed in Krosno, the city traditionally connected with class craft. This city used to be called “ Small Cracow” because of its beautiful architecture and rich culture. The beginning of the twentieth century brought the glass works to the city and since then it became the biggest and the most significant center of glass industry – not only in Poland. More than one hundred years of tradition in producing glass of the highest quality cultivated by numerous smaller and bigger works is the background for common among decorative glass connoisseurs conviction that the glass craft from Krosno is truly unique.
